Collegium meeting with the attendance of Milan Kucan, Mary Robinson, Stéphane Hessel, Michel Rocard, George Soros, William vanden Heuvel, Henri Atlan, Sacha Goldman, and later, permanent representatives to the UN: Ambassadors of Sweden, Germany, France, Slovenia, USA, Australia, Switzerland, and Brazil. Discussions of the Memorandum on the Role of the United Nations with UN Deputy Secretary General, Louise Frechette, Under Secretary General Shashi Tharoor, and other senior officials from the Organization. Distribution of the Memorandum to all Permanent Representatives of the United Nations during the General Assembly.
